Original 1987 Turbo Coupe 5-speed

original 1987 Turbo Coupe 5-speed
bought new in Jan. '88
I'm original owner.
has between 36k and 37k (I forget)
First set of Gatorbacks (tires) lasted 30,000 highway miles.  This is the 2nd.  I think they've been on the 10 years now.  I might want to get some a little newer, lol.

Amy, That is a very nice looking TC and Welcome to the Forum..I do remember seeing your TC at CatJam 07 your talked with my wife Paula while we were there also. :)

Thanks!  I totally missed CJ 2008, lol.  Never even Thought about it getting moved up.  I was working 7 days / week and some were 12-hr days.  I've slowed down to 40 hrs due to the economy. Kind of feels like 60 MPH down to to brick wall, especially the paycheck, lol.

Welcome just wondering what motor did Ford put in that Taurus? Im ean i know its a V8, is it a 4.6?

It was a Yamaha designed (and built?) 60-degree 3.4 DOHC V8. It's got more in common with the 2.5 Duratec V6 (same bore/stroke) than it does with the modular V8.
