seat belt replacement

Does anyone know how to remove the door plunger without damaging the plastic bezel?

The plastic part around the plunger just snaps off; it's just a cover. Then you'll see how the plunger just twists out with a quarter turn and pops out of the metal. Pretty self explanatory once the cover is off.

Well the mechanic and I managed to break the bezel getting it off.  Anybody out there got a couple in good shape?

FYI, the factory plastic cover on the belt retractor is white, the factory replacement is blue.
