my 5 lug swap...*now with pics!*

I know:ttiwwp: but it was cold I couldn't wait to get one of the '99 GT wheels on my car so I installed one of the front rotors and put the wheel on...it looks SWEET.I got TC rims on it now,but the 5 lug allows me to have more selection. My swap includes:(2) 84-92 ranger front hub/rotors,and 2 LEFT side axle from 84-94 ranger w the 7.5 rear axle. The rear rotors are not yet selected, but probably '90 LSC or sn95 Mustang will be chosen seeing we have both in the junkyard to retrofit on there.Intresting enough the ranger has a smaller *in diameter* spindle shaft.
Tomorrow i'll be installing the axles, and the RF rotor WITH PICS for reference, plus an added bonus, will be installing the H pipe on the 'Coug. The swap will run me about $200 but considering I got the rims and tires for $50:flip: at a swap meet *Englishtown NJ swap meet*, I can't complain. I didn't pick anything up at the Stafford spring CT swap meet, too busy watching my stuff so it didn't get stolen. So keep checking back...PICS COMING SOON!

well got 3/4 of the swap done now,the yard that I got the axles from gave me a left and right instead of 2 lefts, and the exaust will take 2 people to install it.
standard '83 cougar rotor

Both Ranger and Cougar rotor side by side on the trunk of the stock car.

Closer comparison shows the bearing differences.

Ranger hub/rotor installed

Front half done!
