88' XR7 for sale

I am ready to let go of my black 88' XR7. I am asking 2500 as a starting price. Please place any questions for the car here directly, so others can see my response. I am located near Kings Island in SW Ohio, 45036. Possible delivery if you pay and it is not too far. I have Access to a trailer. and yes, all 4 wheels on the trailer are doing fine thank you. :hick: You can find pics on my link below.

Good:
100% Stock XR7 (except radio)
112,000 on Odometer - Car originaly from New Orleans area- bought 4 years ago.
Rust free body - except where someone broke into car and small damage on drivers door
Tires in great shape
Heater core, radiator and hoses replaced.
Air conditioner still works, and has the NEW air system already installed as well. Car was kept garaged and very well taken care of before I bought it. Paint still shines after a good waxing as well.
Suspension kept up by original owner. Still handles well.
Replaced exhaust.
Power windows replaced with used, and work fine.

Bad:
During moist weather and sitting for short times, sputters/stalls a bit until car is warmed up a litlle. I think it just needs a tune up.
Interior almost perfect except for hood release broken.

I also have a few spare parts like doors and fendors that could go with the car if interested as well.

hello.. wanted to know if you are selling these parts:

1) Drivers side cornering lamp (marker light) exterior cover that is in line with the moulding. (not on 1987 model)

2) Drivers side moulding to the right of the door below the quarter window (left side of rear wheel well). (1987 has same piece)

Please let me know.. I am interested in getting these pieces for my cougar...

Sorry, I don't have either one of these outside of what is on the car itself. This car will not be a parts car. Only a few people have a better stock 87-88" XR7 than this.

I have been driving the car again, and replaced the power windows and had the exhaust fixed as well. Dropped my ASKING price as well. I WILL NOT part this car out. This car has no modifications done outside of the stereo. I plan on getting a tune up soon as well, which should solve whatever issues the car has left. There is NO undercarriage rust on the car as well, and others on the board can testify to this as well. I have too many cars and prefer the 4 eyes as well. I don't feel like wasting my time on e-bay, so I will place it on craigs list soon.

If you have a newer or solid hood latch (interior piece), that is pretty much all the car is in need of, besides a good tune up. I got a good look at the undercarriage when I had the exhaust fixed. I was amazed out how good it really looks. NO rust, anywhere. I think I need to take pics of the undercarriage just to show how clean it realy is.

That car is really nice. Almost bordering perfect.
If I was looking for a car when I was at Catjam, I would have offered you money for it right there.

Ill just hold on to it for you.  You know you dont really want to get rid of it.  One day you'll want it back.  Ill just spend some time making you miss ol' girl, but she's gonna want to stay with me in the end.:D
