Some recent changes to my bird

Well, decided to paint my grill tonight.  I didn't paint the tbird emblem, I removed it first so it's really clean looking.  It looks pretty good but is kind of hard to catch in the picture at night.  First my license plate glared and that was all you could see, hence the rag over it.  Then i couldn't get it to focus.  I'll get one in daylight sometime.  Anyway, enough of my blabbering.  Here's a rough pic.  I've got the new rims/tires on it too (Thanks Eric!!).

Haha!  :rollin: Check out my oil spot!  That leak's fixed now.

anything sporty should never have a chrome grill imo, looks great. i was going to do something like that if i couldnt get my TC header pannle. nice job, looks realy good with those clear headlights.

Thanks for the compliments.  I'm still waiting until tomorrow to see how it really turned out.  I think my paint may be a little faded so it may not match up as nicely as I'd hoped.  The paint I used is for cars with finishes that are slightly faded (plastic-kote?) so maybe the color will be okay.  Hopefully I have enough coats on it to keep it from being chipped by rocks and big bugs.

Here's the daylight picture.  It looks a lot better than I thought. Not bad for a rattle can job if I do say so myself.  I like the new wheels as well.

IMHO the only time the chrome grille looks good if it's sporty is if the car is silver, like mine. Otherwise it clashes way too much.
