A4LD Transmission Question

Alright, this is mostly going out to anybody who has an 87 or 88 automatic unmodified turbo coupe.

I just had my transmission rebuilt, and it seems to jerk in and out of gears. Is this normal? I've never driven the car before the rebuild, so I don't know if this is normal.

The fluid level is full, but its a hard shift. If i punch it, it seems to shift fine, but almost like there is a shift kit in it. I know nothing extra was put into the tranny.

Any feedback is appreciated.

The A4LD that was originally in in my TC shifted like any other stock transmission... Possibly there is a problem with the modulator valve or vacuum line going to it...

X2...

BTW, shouldn't this be in the transmission section? ;)
