Door trim June 28, 2008, 08:52:43 PM Finally worked on ny 87 today and am trying to figure how the chrome trim is removed. I have a door from a tc which is all black. No problem removing the belt mldg and the piece around the mirror but trying to determine if the chrome piece is part of the glass seal or if its seperate. Any insight will be appreciated. Door trim Reply #1 – July 01, 2008, 11:44:22 PM Which chrome piece, around the top of the glass or on the inside of the door? The top piece on the inside of the door is one oiece, the trim around the top of the door glass is two, the window track felt is one part once that is removed their are some rivets holding on the small trim piece. If the window track needs to be removed be carefull not to bend it !!! It has steel inside and they trash quick. Let me know which one your after and I will gladly give more detailed instructions.
