I think "clean" is a severe understatement.
'88 Sport--T-5,MGW shifter,Trick Flow R intake,Ed Curtis cam,Trick Flow heads,Scorpion rockers,75mm Accufab t-body,3G,mini starter,Taurus fan,BBK long tube headers,O/R H-Pipe, Flowamaster Super 44's, deep and deeper Cobra R wheels, Mass Air and 24's,8.8 with 3.73's,140 mph speedo,Mach 1 chin spoiler,SN-95 springs,CHE control arms,aluminum drive shaft and a lot more..

IMO that is the Thunderbird that should have been. And it looks like he did his best to document it as a dealer install so it's as close to factory as possible. If I had the money I would drive it on nice days. It's a lot more likely that I would probably recreate it at some point using a 5.0 Sport instead of a TC. :hick:

1988 Mustang GT - GT40 heads, Explorer intake, 70mm throttle body, 70mm MAF, Crane 1.7 rrs, E303 cam, Kirban Kwik shifter w/ Pro 5.0 deluxe handle, aluminum clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster, o/r h pipe, Dynomax lers, 3G alternator, aluminum radiator, and 3.27 gears.

He'll never get what he wants for it. Thats the sad part. It's a beautiful car, but $20k is not reasonable this day and age. Is it worth it to guys like us, maybe...but would we pay that, probly not.


If I had tons of money to blow, I'd probly give it a good home. For $20k, there are a lot of other rides that would be higher on the list. Thats just me.

Now that is one nice machine i need to post some photos of my 1984 donor 5.0 converted turbocoupe that my dad and i are going to swap over all the stuff for it to my 85 the 84 we just got looks like it received just about the same craftsmanship on the swap at that sweet 87! no :bs:


Here are a few and some of the 65 stang and my dad got a nice 86 bird with 69k in the three car deal i will get some more of the 84's fact looking eng bay and she has 3.73 8.8 disk brake rear end!

LOL, the turbo coupe purists have to see this one again :punchballs:  Seriously TC people you know a V8 looks much better in these cars :D

now I thought there was a big huge conversation about this before. If I remember correctly that it was said that the thin and tall ones were not on any specific years that they were on.

Nice 84 bird!!! To bad it looks like it got rear ended!

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.
