Ran at the Flashlight Drags yesterday

They had the flashlight drags in Waynesburg, PA yesterday (sunday the 15th). I went up there and ran a few times. It was just 1/8 mile, no times, just heads up racing.

Ran into a couple guys that asked me a bunch of questions about my car, the one guy said he was actually a member on turboford...he had a mostly stock '88 5.0 Mustang with a 5 speed, converted to mass air, he told me it ran mid 13's. I ran him and he had me on the launch, but we were running dead even.

Vehicles I also ran:
AWD, V6 Fusion, (bone stock)-totally had me on the launch both times but I had chased him down by the end of the 1/8th, was surprised how fast it was but I woulda kicked his butt in a 1/4 mile

'93 Mark VIII (modified, runs 13.4's)- again, had me on the launch and was slowly creeping away from me

late 90's 4.6 Thunderbird (apparently had a chip and some other stuff)- once again, had me on the launch but by 2/3 track I passed him like he was standing still.

With the exception of the Mustang, everything else was an automatic so they had an easier time launching than me. If nothing else I found out my car is apparently a better quarter mile car. And I really need to get my trak-lok rebuilt.

It was pretty fun though! Just need to find more people to actually run against.
