what's up with all the guests? lol

Yeah, I don't know what's going on with all the guests. They're using up a lot of bandwidth (I'm sure you've all noticed how slow the server has been lately) so I turned off guest access. People had a cow, so I turned it back on. I've just installed a script that will boot guests when the server loads get too high, though - hopefully it'll help.

another forum i go to had the same issue last year, lots of guests but turned out to be a glitch in the phppb forum software or something.
but you dont use that here.

Yeah Texasstreetracers.com same thing but only like a few at a time but i retired basically and never get on there anymore because almost no one in my town talks cars they all talk  on everyone and i am normal and nice laid back guy most of the time. So whats the limit on guests for right now? 20?

I can appreciate guests showing up,and new members are always welcome,but in the long run,members need to be more comfortable than the guests.Any guest can easily become a member.But holy ,it really HAS been slower than cold syrup around here lately.
