Dude, I've been following your rust repair.  That's not real rust repair.  This is real rust repair...

Oh look! I can see China!

I'm teasing, by the way.  You're doing nice work on your Cougar.  I'm glad to see people saving them.  So many were driven into the ground and then thrown away.

Thanks
That is real rust repair. Ive been there before.
Mine's sort of a fixer upper. I just wish they sold parts like they do for mustangs. Watch, in 5 years they'll start making them. LOL

Wow!  I've never seen that before!  I couldn't do it here because of the water table, but that might be the coolest garage toy I've ever seen!

You just made my decision as to what I want for my 35th birthday in 3 years.  It's for the house too!  The wife will not deny me!  LOL!

How high are your ceilings? I have the same situation and might be able to talk the wife into a lift or two instead of another garage. Right now I have my garage full of a 70 Bird, 3 65 Birds, a 80 Silver anniversary Bird, a 76 Bird, a 2004 Bird and then my wifes d/d Jeep. Somehow I cant seem to convince her that a Jeep would feel more at home in the outside elements and then I could bring another Bird in.

I posted pics of it last fall when I went and picked it up. It came from out in Michigan. Its a factory sunroof/cb/digital dash car. I can get you some more pics if you want to see something in particular, therer are also some pics on cardomain with all my other toys. Hope to get some new pics this weekend if I get the garage emptied as I brought home a 83 Heritage monday. I also bought another 80  which I have to go pick up one of these days. Sorry for the thread hi-jack:birdsmily:

Hey, feel free to hijack my threads at will.  In my opinion, the best threads are the ones that spin wildly out of control.

My ceilings are 13', but you don't need anywhere near that much height.  The ceilings in my former garage were 10'6" and I was able to stack my T-Bird and Mustang convertible with no issues.
