Boy when ya get a taste of spring....

I dont know maybe it's just me. But we hit about 50 F around here yesterday, it was actually warmest later in the day/in the evening. I walked out of my dorm to go to the dining hall, and...the air smelled different. I dont know what does it but a nice warm night freakin smells different. And it's a familiar smell too. All the fond memories of last summer just came flooding back in a nanosecond. It nuts how that happens.

Not only that, there was a breeze and it didnt bother me ONE bit.

And Daylight Savings Time is on Sunday!!!!! I completely forgot until someone reminded me, I think YESTERDAY lol. Ya know, the majority of government decisions are pretty stupid, huh? But extending the DST period, I think, is unequivocally a GOOD thing that's come outta the gubmint. I know Im a big fan anyway.

It's just like so close I can FEEL it....I've even started listening to tunes I really only like to hear in the summer...just feels right to do so. And were gettin DUMPED with rain today and the rest of the week. Spring break next week roads should be clean and ready for me :D

Anyone else have a similar experience recently?

Spring in Nova Scotia is a roller coaster. I noticed the crocuses poking out of the ground on Friday and we had 6" of snow Saturday. Sunday was cold, Monday was semi-cold, today was mild (50 degrees), tonight's supposed to be cold and a winter storm warning (freezing rain) is in effect, then close to 50 again tomorrow. The long range shows 50-55 for the rest of the forecast, though :D

it warmed up to 30 one day last week, it's been back to zero and low teens ever since.  Spring here is only two months away.

It was 70 here on Sunday.  Then it all dropped out.  Freezing rain, sleet on Monday, and 9 inches of snow today.  We got hammered.  Missouri is one screwed up state weather wise.

eh. it was 40 something today. 25 mph winds from the north made it feel alittle bit colder. Over all the weather is alot warmer then i have been expecting it to be.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Sunday- I'm wearing shorts ridin around with the windows down, walking my dog, upper 60s

Tuesday- Im trying to find my car in the 13-14 or so inches of snow. cant drive anywhere since the city doesnt plow my street until every other street is done. I walked everywhere today, in coveralls my hunting boots and huge coat. saved some gas and got some exercise though

Wow some of you guys got crrrrrazy weather. Guess I should be happy it's at least consistent here.

Although honestly I'd almost prefer that. Consistent =/= good when its consistently 10 F above for a week :hick:

It's been mid/high 60s here since Sunday.  I've been cruisin with my windows down all week :).  And trees are starting to bud.
