May 25, 2008 Monticello, IL – Sunday - Birds In Spring 2008 Show & Shine at the Monticello Railway Museum Exit 166 off I –72. Sponsored by the Illini Thunderbirds Auto Club and the Ford Thunderbird Driving and Dinning Society and Things and Stuff Publishing Company. All Thunderbirds are invited and welcome to attend this event regardless of any other club affiliations, registration 10:30 am – 12:00 noon, Show & Shine 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm. May 30-June 1, 2008 Binghamton, NY – The Upstate NY Thunderbird Club Spring Fever “08”. June 14, 2008 Saturday Pompton Plains, NJ - Annual North Jersey Thunderbird Association ALL Thunderbird Show held at the Pompton Valley Presbyterian Church 60 Sunset Road Pompton Plains NJ. This is one of the largest Annual Thunderbird ONLY events on the East Coast with easily over 100 Thunderbirds attending! Lets set a new record attendance at this event in 2008! August 11-17, 2008 in Nashville, TN International Thunderbird Club (ITC) 15th Annual International Convention. The Convention will be based out of the Holiday Inn Select Opryland-ARPT (Brilley Pkwy) 2200 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. Front Desk 1-615-883-8770, reservations 1-888-HOLIDAY (1-888-465-4329) The Convention is open to and welcomes ALL Thunderbird Owners & Enthusiasts 1955-2005 and invites you to join in the Thunderbird FUN! Events & Tours will be held in the entire Lehigh Valley area and a Concours Thunderbird Show will be held on Saturday with a Awards Banquet Saturday evening. The Convention is open to both Members and Non-Members of the ITC, Pre-Registration for the Convention is mandatory! You do not need to be a member of the ITC to attend these events, however there "may" be a different registration fee if you are not a member!

Always remember that the International Thunderbird Club was "Created by Serious People...Just for Fun" and still is to this day.

Syosset, NY is right by me and I’m off on Sundays ill have to Wright that one down.

Maybe remind the guys a week or two before each one.

If that is OK I will post reminders a couple weeks in advance of the events, but some of the events do have registration deadlines!

Not sure if your interested but the Long Island Thunderbird Club Chapter of the ITC http://www.litb.org that puts on the show in Syosset, their members caravan off the island to some of the other events listed above!

Being a cool zero out today kind of hard to think about the events of summer now, but I Hope everyone has a Great & Safe Thunderbird Cruise and Show season!

I will attend the one in Monticello, Il. All be it I have a cougar but looking and getting ideas maybe helpful for me.

June 6, 2008 ALL Thunderbird Cruise In at Family Ford is Cancelled

I am sorry to say that the Thunderbird Cruise scheduled for June 6, 2008 at 6:00 pm at Family Ford is cancelled for 2008! Family Ford and Greg Stevenson in particular is involved with the ALL Ford Nationals at Carlisle and will not be logistically able to have the ALL Thunderbird Cruise In event due to that involvement! Being in contact with Greg, he did however mention that it might again be a possibility again in 2009! Once again I would like to thank Family Ford ad all of the Thunderbird owners for all of their support and Family Fords fantastic hospitality in past years and with any luck a future Thunderbird event!

I am again sorry for this late news but I only found out today that the event will not be held and I am doing my best to contact all who have an interest in this event! Feel free to pass this along to anyone else that you may know who was or is interested in the status of this event!
