Spring question February 05, 2008, 07:30:07 PM What kinda spring rates are everyone using for the fox birds? i have an 84 tbird thats been fully gutted and caged with a 5.0 and c4 transmission and im not sure what kinda spring rates to run. Its a race only vehicle so ride comfort isnt an issue. ive asked every racing forum im a member of and they all have no idea with the birds and since i dont have scales i cant just figure it up myself. Spring question Reply #3 – February 05, 2008, 08:43:07 PM lol this sucks. well ok the car weighs about 3000 at the highest the guys that circle track these cars are generally using a 950 fr and 850 fl 275 lr 250rr for 3/8 mile and 1100fr 1050fl and the same rears for 1/2 mile but they arent using sway bars or anything. what i would like is maybe someone that autocrosses b/c thats about the closest thing I can find until someone else starts racing one of these in my class. If someone knows the stock factory rate of springs for an foxbody 5.0 that would also help give me an idea of where i need to be. Quote Selected
