Err! I can't get it off (the armrest)

Having trouble figuring out who the heck to get my padded armrest off.

It is a complete " :yuck: " !!!!!

I see that there is some sort of bolt that goes through the back of the armrest pad that allows it to swing on. Now both ends are rounded and I can't understand how to get it out. I am replacing it with another fabric that will match my seats.

Very frustrating and I keep cutting my hands on the rusty ends trying to pull and push. Any help would be awesome, cuz Im stuck.

I want to the get whole armrest off, so I can remove the current padding and cloth.

So i believe I need to get the whole hing removed from the console itself, then remove it from the hing by cutting the cloth to free it from the hinges.

But I just cant figure out how to remove either the hing or the whole bracket for it.

The bar that runs through the center of the arm rest at the rear has 2 push on clips on it.(one on either side
Remove the 2 plastic pieces that cover it and you can see the clips i'm refering to.
Pry them off and pull out the center rod, haven't done one for a while but it only took me like 2 mins to do,it's very easy once those clips are removed.

woohoo, it worked. One side had a small, and I mean small, pin that played a small part. I couldn't even see it, until I got my led flash point on the tip of the rounded edge to see a pin that was rusted into the bolt itself.
Well nothing that a small hammer and a pryer couldn't do. well in 10 seconds I had it outta the car. thanks for all the help guys!!!!!!!
