turbo worth it? February 07, 2008, 08:38:42 AM i found this locally and was wondering what questions to ask about it to make sure it is what it is and what do i need to look for to make sure it fits my 2.3...i have the stock IHI right now. Basic stuff i know but this is my first turbo car and i am still learning. What kind of play am i looking for etc. Quote Selected
turbo worth it? Reply #1 – February 07, 2008, 09:11:22 AM Well we kind of need more info to even come close to telling you if it will work or not. As far as the play goes. You want no in-out play and you can have a little side to side as long as the blades don't touch the housing. You're going to have some play as the shaft bushings have no oil around them while it's not running. Quote Selected
