maybe this is not the question to ask on this thread, but he says it's "officially a classic now"... doesn't a car have to be 25 to be considered a classic/antique?

In Ohio anyway, 25 is when you can legaly purchase antique tags. Last tags you HAVE to buy for the car again.

20 is generaly considered classic.
