Silly boy, it says right there... "87-93 Mustang".  :hick:
It'll be for the neutral-start switch and backup lights.
Mustangs had cable speedos, so no hookup for our electronic ones.

Back-up light harness/neutral safety switch - This is Ford part # E7ZZ-15525-A if you're buying new, or if you're savvy enough, cut the AOD connector off and rewire to match the T-5 connector (I just rewired mine).

I used a Mustang t5 harness in my car.  I just shortened it down a bit, since it connects under the radio, as opposed to the driver side kick panel in a Stang.  It made the wiring very convenient, since there is a separate, shorter harness on the t5 that the body harness connects to.
Your speedo will work with the old sender off of your AOD.  Since you don't need the mechanical speedo connection that the Mustangs use, just swap the old sender into the new transmission.  The electronic speedo uses the vss on the sender.  You have to change the speedo gear on the end of the sender to the t5 gear, since the AOD gear is different.

well, i didnt bother with it. in my case i just wired in the reverse light switch and short wired the neutral safety switch. i just have to remember to either put the car in neutral or put the clutch in when starting it. nobody drives my car without me.

Dude there is a switch on the tranny and the pedal assy for that. Pick one or both and use it. Why have a potential accident waiting to happen.

i know there is....maybe when i have time. like i said, nobody drives the car but me. i didnt have a harness to use anyway and didnt realy feel like making one. ive only put 100 miles on it since the t5 anyway. when i actually start to drive the car when the weather gets better i will probably "finnish" it the right way. i mostly just wanted to get it together because i dont have any storage for parts.
