Before and Now and soon to be after pics.

Before:
The day it became legal to drive.

Now:

Finished product.

I plan on painting the interior all black with blue accents, i've already started, the steering cloumn and door trim is black, the speaker grills are blue. The wood grain I will experiment with, probably chrome or something. Replacing the headliner and carpet with black carpet and liner.
I'm just experimenting for when I do my girlfriends car. I want it to be perfect and i rather learn and mess up on mine than hers. The red paint is flawless the hood still has to be finished up, needs more clear coat and a wet sand.

What number should I do then? I was thinking of just doing 00 so it's easy, or 11, or something.

Yes the grille is gold, I painted it a while ago, the silver didn't go right with the black body. It looks nice with the red, but I may go with a mesh grille.

why not do the last 2 digits of the year, like 87 or 88.

Man...I'm really sorry but,......okay I'll be nice. I want to see the finished product before passing judgement.  Remember though, the quality of the finished product is all in the prep work. I wish you luck, and keep the pics coming!!

I slapped some fog lights on it and painted my dash today. The dash is black, but in high light it looks like a very very dark blackish brown. The plastic trim part of the dash, speaker grilles, and vents are silver. I'll get some pics tomorrow after I have finished putting the final coat on the dash and put everything back together.

I also did the 199mph mod, finaly after like 5 years I bought a new soldering iron to replace them one I lost.
