I don't need the smart ass comments.
I don't expect you to drive down here from NJ to come get it anyway.
I have no idea what it's worth, I based that price off what a friend who deals with this stuff (and is a member of this board) suggested.
$200 seemed like alot to me too but for $20 i'll keep it.  That won't even get me a 1/4 tank of gas in the other car.
I was thinking more like 100-150.  gotta start somewhere.

the car was grey, but was rattle-canned atleast once.
the seats are the usual blue-ish color.

That is probably a more realistic price. However.... a few years ago, a guy was selling a TC rear and he asked me what it was worth. I told him I sold several for $150 - $200 each. So, he put it on CL for $400 and sold it in two days. The buyer never even questioned it, just ponied up the bucks and took it home. You just never know.

It's like my dad always used to say, "When you try to sell something, you can always go down in price, but you can never go up."

Depending on condition, $50 - $150 is about the going rate for 87/88 TC hoods, IMHO. Anyway, good luck with your sales and welcome to the site!

That's a great 2nd post for a guy who never introduced himself...I wasn't being a smart-ass, for your information, but trying to sell a T/C hood for $200 bucks is insanity.  I just didn't want to put it that way initially...but being as we're letting it all hang out, why not.  I don't NEED a T/C hood, I already have one, thanks....cost me $33 at the local J/Y in pefect condition.  In 5 years that hood might be worth $200 because the s-yards don't exactly hold these cars for sentimental value...they go to the crusher pretty quick.

Good luck,
Don

as i said:  I had no idea what it was worth.  I'm going off suggestions of others whos' opinions i respect. If somebody close enough wants it and can come get it, make me an offer.  I can't ship it.  that is my cell # in the first post.  I don't get to check here often.
As I said, it needs to be painted but it's straight and all there.

Like FLSTCI71 said, i can go down in price but not up.
Thanks for the welcome, by the way lol

as far as taking that tone in my "second post"; i was in no mood to put up with someone's smartalec comments that day. And yea, you -were- being a smartalec.  but whatever.
