On the subject of The GT500 KR i was sorely disappointed to see that the scoops were fake.

Because that's so different from most factory Mustangs. :hick:

I quite like the Caddy's at this year's Detroit show. That CTS Coupe is incredible.

I just figured you know the KR come on at least make the scoops active, i mean how  hard would it be to make the scoops active change a few things with the intake.I dont much like the CTS coupe and even after seeing it in person still dont like it.

The second Mystery Mazda is their entry for ALMS competion this year. It will also run Le Mans. Mazda is the only puppiesanese manufacturer to win Lemans and they're going for it again.

"That said, Mazda neither intends to race Furai, nor is it a supercar the company plans to build and sell in the near future."

Don't forget the part where they remove 2/3 of the power as well. I've driven one. A GT V6 Tib. (late model), and my Tercel felt like it had more punch. And advocating copied designs...... well, what can I say about that? We berate China for doing the same thing, but more obvious, why not Korea?

your right, although it had a DSM motor it was only an accord killer.  the elantra i had (99) would kill a v6 accord, 95-96 accords, etc.  I forget what design they used from DSM which they bought from them, but they weren't using it anymore, and it took hyundai out of the garbage bin and gave them DSM reliability.

as for advocating the copying of other products, its a love hate relationship.  i like it b/c the 06 sonata has more power than the electronics know what to do with (esc and tcs) handles great, and the interior build and fit quality is on par with cars 3 times its price.  and if you look at the design of the body on them they look like honacoyuxeses.  but check out the 06-07 sonta vs the 09 accord.

its nice to get a quality product where you dont have to pay for the price of a badge with an expensive name on it.

I didn't know they used DSM engineering. I know the 2.7L V6 is very disappointing. So much motor in such a light car should be a lot more fun. They didn't steal that design completely. It looks a lot like a Maranello, but they went straight to Pininfarina for the design. At least they hired the Italians, even if they didn't give the company all that much recognition. You heard about who designed it, but never from Hyundai. They're a pretty good car, but I wish they would somehow define what a Korean car looks like. The Genesis is a nice project, and I expect it'll be a big seller. It has all the right stuff. A car that Ford and Chevrolet used to make. Affordable, reliable, cheap RWD V8 large sedan. So there they are making other companies cars. ;) Halfway between a Crown Supreme and an E Series.

Just have some imagination already. ;)

I was talking about the sedan. Well, when I said project I was talking about both, but my design comments were about the 4-dr.
