good trade? Reply #21 – December 20, 2007, 12:54:36 AM I traded a 2.3/T5 (swapped in myself) '86 Stang for my first Tbird, does that make me any more loved here!??? And where's the Dodge slams !? Quote Selected
good trade? Reply #22 – December 20, 2007, 11:50:03 PM That is a typical redneck Dodge. They don't worry about building the car, they just throw an engine in it. I do like old dodges but I hate Dodge owners. Looks like they did the electronic ignition upgrade and bought the orange box. Still has the first generation alternator, I think they were a 43 amp unit. I've rewired a few old Dodge engine harnesses, not too difficult. Of course when I do it you can't tell its been modified, nothing like that redneck hack job. Quote Selected
good trade? Reply #23 – December 22, 2007, 02:22:39 AM I had a 72' Satellite that someone before me replaced the slant 6 with a 440 from a 69 road runner. I love the old mopars quite allot. If this car has some alterations done to it, you really are asking for ALLOT of trouble. They use to say, "Ford parts are twice Chevy's, and mopar parts are 4 times Ford's". Since the car has already been altered, you may be looking into a money pit. These cars are becoming increasingly expensive to maintain. I know it is VERY tempting, but make sure you know what you are getting into exactly. You don't just find parts in the junk yard for them either. Quote Selected
