302 5 speed February 26, 2005, 12:06:42 AM well im curious WHAT all i need to put a 302 T5 in my 84 3.8 cougar. The cougar has the c5 trans in it now. i know ill need flywheel n clutch assy and pilot bearing. would any t5 out of a mustang work? and would the input shaft on the driveshaft work just fine? any help is good help :-) and later on im gonna try n get a 302 in there and i know the 3.8 and 302 have same bellhousing as do other related sb's.
