Bad Day...

I wake up, Step out of my bed onto soggy carpeting...
At first i think the cats left me a surprise, But i keep "Sloshing" as i walk out of the room...
THE  LOWER LEVEL OF THE HOUSE HAS FLOODED!

We have an older house from the 60's, It has a daylight basp00get that has been converted to a second living level of the house which i rent from my parents.
Luckily the living room, kitchen and bathroom havent been flooded... But, half of my bedroom, the second room (i use for storage) and the back porch/laundry room have.

Really ruins my day, Its gonna take a long time to dry out... If it ever stop raining that is...
The storage room is fairly packed at the moment, Im afraid to find out whats damaged, I need to go dig through stuff in there, its the worst off with water. :toilet:

This has only happened once before in the 15 years we have lived here, in the storage room~And only minorly in a corner, We patched it... Apparently not enough...

I'm sure people are much worse off than me, sorry if i sound selfish.
Just needed to talk about it, I'm kind of really angry as i cant doing anything about it.

Sorry to hear about the flooding. I hope you don't lose too much in the water. I always have that fear when our power goes out. we live on a small island and the water table is quite high.
Good luck on the drying process
