yeah, he didn't even know it had the intake.  I guess I met one of his buddies and he told him about it....  I think it is the guy that came down along time ago and test drove it but never returned.  I guess he was in the hospital for a while.....  said he has a 347 with AFR heads to drop in it.  We'll see.....  I think I will back out of the deal though....  I really like this car....

Thought you wanted that TC with no eng ron.
You could easily buy that car for 2g's and build a 5.0L for it with the remaining cash.
The cat is super clean for an ontario car but that bird is absolutley mint.
Just think you wouldn't have to do any body or paint work.
Plus the bird is a full load car just like the coug but with a moonroof,4 wheel disc, abs, electronic ride control and 3.73s from the factory because it was an auto car.
The coug's also got some high miles on that suspension, rear end and trans.
You always said you where more partial to bird's anyways.

Sell it and buy the bird. But sell it under the condition that the buyer joins the boards and comes to CatJam next year. :D

thats what I have been thinking Chris.  I still have a good 351W laying on my garage floor that I would like to put in that TC.  I love the Cougar, too though.  Great shape all over....

The bolded part is what is really swaying me to buy it....:birdsmily:  That and I REALLY miss the bird....:(

Do what you want to do, it's your car. That is a pretty good chunk of change though.

I'd sell mine in a heartbeat for that much, and buy the 98 cobra that a guy came into my store with.
