Someone with Raven leather! Pics asap?!!

Can someone with raven leather interior please post some pics of the front seats asap?  I am having my seats recovered by my girlfriends parents (in upholstery school) and I want to see what the stock leather colors were...  I picked out two colors similar to the cloth colors (blackish, grayish) but before they order in a few hours I was hoping to see the leather colors...

Hmm... no one?  Can anyone at least tell me if they are two tone (black outside, grey insert) like the cloth ones are and if that looks good in leather?  idk if I should go all black (dark charcoal) or two tone...

It's 2-tone, but "wider" then the cloth. The "black" is actually Charcoal, and the "gray" is Raven Gray.

Hmmm, is that in a pre 87 car?  If so, are there any differences in the 87-88 colors?  I don't like the 'wider' gray section but this gives me a good idea of the colors...  thanks

That is an 85-86. The seats however are identical on 87-88's.

For what it's worth, the seats in my '86 look just like the leather seats that Aerobird Motorsports posted.
I had Ford send me an "options sheet" with details on what my car had when it rolled off the assembly line (it even tells me what day it was produced - 10/15/1985).
In any event, the color codes for the seats reads as, "Smoke colored leather and Montana vinyl."

I'm not sure if that will help you, but I thought I would add it into the thread. I, too, have plans for refinishing the seats.

Thanks CougarCragar...  I'd like to see your seats when done.  I think I got my material picked out.  A dark Graphite and a Medium gray.  They should be started by next week.  I'm also doing the side panel inserts, shift boot and probably a matching console cover!  I'll post pics with the progress  :D

That matches my upholsterers opinion. She seemed to think that the "light gray" is the only real leather on the seats, all of the Charcoal is vinyl. The door panel inserts are also vinyl.

Yeah, that is true.  I picked up a full set of 85 TC seats (front and rear as well as the inserts) and only the center of the seat was real leather.

I believe the phrase Ford used for describing our seats was "leather seating surfaces"...so the material that touches your back and backside is real leather. Everything else would be vinyl.

Meh, if done with quality materials, you cant tell the difference between vynal and leather unless someone told you. \

As much as i like my leather, when i re-do my seats its all gonna be vynal for the durability and maintenance factors.
