problem solved!!! new question!

Have you tried prying the rack away from the steering shaft? I think I did something like that and at the same time wacked the coupling with the end of a prybar with a hammer hitting the other end of the prybar (prybar is my bestest friend :D ) . It eventually started moving and I was good to go.

lol - two minutes too late!

i got it by spining it front to back and wacking it with a punch on each side and it started to slide out then i pulled as hard as i could got it out nailing the back of my head on the bolt in the fog light!
O and i just broke the high and low pressure hoses getting them off. I saw that coming!

You see,all you had to do was use those big guns protruding from your sleeves and apply all of your manly power.Good job.Now to get it all back together.INSTALL THE NEW POWER STEERING LINES WHILE THE RACK IS OFF !!!!!!!!!! Otherwise,it'll suck.

Good job !!! One step at a time.It gets overwheelming sometimes, but remember, every time you turn a screw, bolt on a part,or tighten a bolt, you're one step closer to the finished product.keep it going. Also, remember,do it right the first time.

Yea I messed around with those fuel lines and i shouldn't have. Thats about 100 thats gone between tools and fittings, line, and the lines i got off areo. I wont make that mistake again, which is why I'm buying the stuff i need not trying to make it work!
Thanks vin, and everyone for the support and help!

How you guys think its gonna sound with mac 2 1/2 h pipe, gutted cats, 2 1/2 flow tubes into cherry bomb vortex lers, then out 2 1/2 tail pipes into 45's out behind the rear wheels. Should be pretty  loud im hoping.

Anyone know how to get the bolt sleeves out of the k member??

Not as loud as you think bro. It's going to have a deeper sound and a more " refined" sound with the tail pipes. I think it would sound like RJ's bird maybe?

compared to stock its gonna be loud, cant run dumps in RI, not that i want them anyway. A refined deep rumble would be exactly what i want.
