Sport-vs-base differences?

OK, I may have found a nice base V-6 nearby. No sunroof, no rust, nice daily driver. Until I can't stand it and start changing things....
If I get it, I intend to leave it fairly stock, or maybe I should say "mild". But I have a few questions since I don't know much about the basic T-Birds.
Will the rack be 15-1 like my Sport was?
Are the springs different? I took all my lowering springs to s.
I know the sway bars will be different, but I still have my set of big aftermarket bars I had on the Sport.
I assume the rear will be the 7.5 and 2.73? I think my sport was the same. It has fugly wire wheel covers and 14" wheels, hence my other question about wheels. The current tires will be fine until they need replaced.
This will NOT get the Cup chassis or motor stuff I have. That will need a second body and be a real project. I don't want to do much to this car. Maybe later an engine swap and change over to 5 spd.

Ok... I'll go in order.
 
The Rack will be 20/1. Onl sports ad TC's got the " sport rack"
 
Springs will be V6. Sport and TC springs are similer. V8 springs are different from that as are the V6 springs different from all the above.
 
Rear will more then likely be an open 7.5" 2.73 but could be a 3.08. All depends on the door code
 
Swaybars will be small front bar and I don't remember if it's the pencil thing rear bar or one at all

I think the V6 springs may be more likely to be a 3.08 or even a 3.27 with a V6 car (I got the 3.27's I installed in my '87 Sport from an '87 V6). The V6 cars generally got better gears because, well, they needed 'em (same reason A4LD TC's got 3.73's while T5 models got 3.55's). The rear will most likely be open as well.

A rear sway bar is optional even on base V8 cars, so it will certainly be optional on a V6.

87 V6 car should be 3.27, but in 88 I think you could get the 2.73's

I don't think there are enough differences in springs overall to worry about it... The strut valving is mostly what makes the difference in stiffness... Mainly the fronts are different because of the engine weights... I still have the original TC springs in mine, sets maybe 3/4" lower than a stock TC... A iron headed 5.0 would likely make one a little lower still...

V8 cars automaticaly got a rear sway bar, although a very small one on the base and LX. V6 cars didn't get a rear sway bar or even have an optional one as far as I know.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.
