Which oil pan? August 12, 2007, 11:08:16 PM Found a j/y locally that says they have an oil pan for my 86 3.8 but they asked whether or not is has the oil level sensor and I had no clue. I assumed so since the dash has an oil level warning light and told them so but wanted to verify it here first before I go pick it up tomarrow. Was I right or wrong? Which oil pan? Reply #1 – August 12, 2007, 11:45:46 PM id just get the one with the sending unit on it. if you dont have it on your current pan, its not going to hurt anything. Quote Selected
