Car is back after wires burning up

Well, got the T-Bird re-wired, put a custom built dual 1100 cfm fan shroud on to help keep it cool (yes I was having over heat problems).  She runs great, I think I have the cooling situation under control now (I hope).  The temps here in Florida are anywhere between 93 to 100 degrees and very humid.  Running the car without the air conditioner the car temp gets to about 220 to 224.  I haven't ran the AC yet so not sure what the temp will get to then.  What are the some of the average temps in about the same conditions are you guys getting?  Remember, I have a 302 stroked to 347 (see sig for the rest).

Problem I have now is that the starter sits so close to the headers it will not crank the car cause it is hot.  Have to wait a few minutes after shut down before it will turn the car over.  I tried putting in a heat shield to protect the starter but, there is no room for it.  Will have to wrap the headers with some kind of heat wrap to protect the starter.  Other than that, she is good to go.

Heading out to put some new tires on her this AM and I have to stop and clean her up.  I will post pictures today of her in a new thread for all to see. ;)

The fan may not be pulling enough CFM for your motor.  I just wired up a markviii fan. I haven't ran it yet, but it is supposed to pull arounf 4000+ CFM. That might help you out a bit.
