Fuses August 30, 2007, 05:33:20 PM My car doesn't have a cap for the fuse box in the car, and strangely there is no underhood fuse box either. I am looking for something to help me identify the fuses. There are numbers next to the fuses but I don't know what these mean. I have no owners manual either. I am trying to find the fuse for the fuel pump. But I would like to know what all the other fuses are for. Especially since my dash lights don't work at night. Thanks. Fuses Reply #6 – August 30, 2007, 06:58:50 PM Fuel Pump. I am getting ready to change the fuel filter and I was told to pull the fuse for the pump to release pressure in the line. Quote Selected
Fuses Reply #7 – August 30, 2007, 07:08:52 PM If you need to relieve pressure, you can disconnect the fuel pump relay and crank the motor. The relay is mounted in the trunk on the passenger side. It's green and sits along a brace towards where the speaker is.I never disconnected it when I changed the filter though. I just popped the clips and let the excess gas drain into a milk jug.
