How much would u give for a 1991 Cougar with a 3.8 that the heads are blown?

Title says it all. Car is red with red interior. The heads are cracked, but the car is in good overall condition. Is it worth fixing and if so what would you buy it for?

if the rest of the car is in real nice shape  no dents, rust, paint good, interior clean, tires brakes etc good.  I might give 400.  I never liked these though.  I had a 91 cougar.  Drove it 140,000 miles just nevr cared for it much, or at least as much as I thought i would

If there's any rust on it whatsoever, forget about it.  If the body and paint is really good, I'd offer 300 or so.  It also heavily depends on whether or not you're doing the repair work yourself.  If you're going to pay someone else, don't buy it, wait for a car you can drive away.

It is a friends car that I was going to fix for them. At first they said that the head gaskets were out of it, but after further interogation I found out both of the heads are probably cracked. Not 100% sure though. I told them I would match whatever the junk yard offered for it. Oh.....I would be doing the work myself.
