new seats Reply #3 – March 13, 2007, 09:45:55 AM I have had about 4 different seats in my Cougar over the last few weeks. The Cougar/T-Bird seats went with a much wider track from 89 on up. Since there is a limited amount of space to work with, it may not even be beneficial to modify the seat to fit on your existing track. I was going to go with SN95 seats but the junkyard was waaaaaay off on price. I only needed a driver's seat so I grabbed a passenger seat from a 87 and it bolted right in. 5 minutes of labor and I was rolling again. Quote Selected
