Question for ohio people

Does an out of state title have to be notarized in the state it comes from?

Im asking this because my dad is looking at a fairlane in Indiana, the car has a Missouri title, and apparently theres no notaries in Indiana any more. He dont want to end up with a parts car, so he needs to know if the title needs notarized to go into his name here.

Any ideas?

I think it may be dependant on local state law, let me check with crystal, she'll know, and im going to pick up a new car from georgia on thursday so i need to know for sure.  The guy told me all i would need is the title and bill of sale and id be good to go.  Ill post again tonight
