I found this on the Corral, thats EXACTLY what one poster quoted...from Pulp Fiction. :D
The humor of referencing that movie aside, its stupid. Cars are DEFENSELESS. So is almost any other form of property. At least have the cojones to confront the person if you have a bone to pick with em. I would agree 100% this is much more about unabashed vandalism more than the whole enviro message thing (though that is important too).
I for one just want to say I don't judge Hummer owners! I actually haven't yet seen one that made it obvious its driver was a you-know-what. Someone else said "its no worse than a full size chevy" YES!!!!!!! DING!!! Aint that what they are? A Tahoe with a squished Hummer body on em? (Which is why I hated em at first, not a real Hummer to me, I think ANY Hummer should be indestructible, as in thre BODY is like 1/4" thick, but thats beside the point)
Eric, absolutely with ya on the insurance thing. AND the tires, they may just go to a plant that will BURN them, same with the body panels perhaps, if they get recycled the paint gets stripped off etc chemicals blah blah bottom line the vandals will cause MORE energy to be used pollutants released, negating their cause!!! Not seeing "the whole picture" just a guy that drives a car that uses a lot of gas and judging him to be a heartless good-for-nothing -spewer and thus somehow deservant of having his car essentially taken away from him, due to it being rendered undriveable.
I disagree with MANY people on some issues very hotly, and even think nasty thoughts about some of em "how ignorant" "how could they be that way" but I would NEVER consider violating their possessions, hell I probably wouldnt even confront THEM. I just cannot believe how brash and brazen some people get when others don't think their way even though it doesnt directly affect them.
I tell people I want to live on a friggin island by myself maybe with some family and like two close friends, they think I'm joking.....
