Saleen bird??? Reply #8 – July 16, 2007, 11:34:33 AM Visually I think it would be very pleasing, and authentic-looking enough. The scheme would lend itself well to the T-Bird body style. Especially with a set of 17-18" Saleen wheels.Morally I hate to see anyone advertising for Saleen, whose service is incredibly inept. Steve himself...good guy. Steve's company...not as much. Their reputation as of late has been horrible. However, as the car's title is in your name, if you feel froggy...leap. :) Quote Selected
Saleen bird??? Reply #9 – July 16, 2007, 02:11:50 PM would love it if it was able to support itself with on the street/track. Quote Selected
Saleen bird??? Reply #10 – July 16, 2007, 02:31:11 PM yeah i thought about buying a mn12 bird to do it but i think it would be cooler to see a TC with saleen rims and spoiler and add the decals and window banner and if you got really lucky and found a saleen 5.0 engine to throw in there it would be pretty sick. Saleen bird??? Reply #11 – July 16, 2007, 04:49:01 PM Well being that my TC is already 5.0L supercharged it would live up to the S302 badges and perform better than the saleen mustangs of that year.I don't quite have 18" saleen wheels but i do have the new 18"fr500s in black that match the body just like the saleen wheels. They also sell on ebay saleen wheel center cap overlays.Only decal i'm not sure about but is kind of necessary is the windshield one.Don't really like anything on my widshield but it may be necessary to make the decals work. Also i think if i do it i'm gonna go with the 001 on the drs side of the front bumper as to make it #1 of production lol. Saleen bird??? Reply #12 – July 17, 2007, 01:12:05 AM I'm pretty much with Eric on this, (never argue with god of cougars-:hick: ). I think it looks pretty cool. Even cooler if it was a cougar and painted YELLOW. The coolest color in the WORLD. :D Quote Selected
