Stang shorties will fit but you need to use a mustang H pipe. Where you located at?

Yea your best bet is mustang shortys and a mustang h pipe, or if you find a lincoln mark VII they also have stang shortys and h pipe. Welcome to the board!

Welcome aboard! One reason for getting an h-pipe is because your O2 sensors are mounted in the manifolds on the Bird. Mustangs and Lincolns both had them mounted in the exhaust pipe just below the headers. So if you put Mustang or Lincoln headers on, you will need the pipe that has the bungs already in place.

You could have them put into your existing pipe but the headers with the factory y-pipe and single exhaust won't really do anything for you. There in lies reason 2 to get the h-pipe and run duals the rest of the way out the back.
