Is it just me?

Or do I have a quirky tbird? What I'm referring to is my rear brake lines they're running along the passenger side of my car and from what I've been reading in the Turbocoupe rear axle swap my car should have the brake lines on the drivers side given it's an 87 tbird........

my rear line runs down the passenger side, then crosses over w/the fuel lines to a position left of the tunnel where it transitioned to rubber line in the stock setup.

Well then looks like I'm gonna have to run some new line up above and across the tunnel and down to the rubber line. But it still is nice to know that I'm not the only one running into all these fun little hiccups. On a side note is it just me or is getting the old proportioning valve out a bit a of a p.i.t.a.? I've already stripped one of the nuts holding the front line to the valve and the last one will probably be a bitch too.

Ugghh

My brake line runs down the pass. side as well, along with the fuel lines.

The prop valve lines are a PITA too - I replaced the lines, so I just cut the old ones off and put a socket on the nuts

IIRC only the Turbo Coupe had the brakes lines running down the driver's side...I believe all non-TC cars had them on the passenger side. At least for 1987. That could have changed for 1988. Because this is Ford we're talking about, and they didn't need to explain d!ck to anyone. ;)
