Just got a 72 Gran torino

Hey guys we just got a 72 Gran Torino with the 351C for $500. We brought it running it was like 35 miles away and it was backfiring the whole way like a sob but made it and never shut down. I rebuilted the carb and was running much better but still backfiring a little so today we changed the spark plug wires and running awsome, It even did a burnout but the body needs alot of work and sorry guys no pics well laterz guys.

Can't beat the 351c! That's what I'm building right now for my '79 Bronco!

I've even thought about getting a Torino myself. Maybe after the Bronco is finished. lol

The body needs work from rust but the engine is now running great maybe today ill go test drive it to see whats it got. The interior is in mint conditions and it is a one owner car and has 11,000 miles.

I was lucky to find a complete setup for the cleveland from a '79 F-150 4x4, where someone already did all the work! All the parts have been installed and there seems to be no problems... yet. lol

How does a 4x4 tranny help a transmission problem in a car?  Were you only looking for bellhousing?
