Drill bit hotness

You all knew I wouldn't sell that Volvo and not buy something stupid in celebration. You were right. I present you with my new 135-piece titanium drill bit set. It's got precision bits from .040-.225", standard bits from 1/16 to 1/2", and lettered bits from A-Z (for use with a tap set - the bits cross-reference to the size and thread pitch of the hole to be tapped). On top of all of that, though: It's pretty :hick: I guess I can now gather up all the cheap bits scattered throughout the garage and tool box and put 'em in a drawer as spares :D

The best thing was the price: 65% off. I paid $49.99 and they have a lifetime warranty (and best of all, with CTC if you break a bit they will replace it)

Damm now that is a set of drill bits. If I was a drill press or a hand drill I would have a hard on! LOL  What are you planing on drilling with those? Gonna see how many holes you can make with one bit before it wears out.

Is that the set from harbor freight? My dad got that... looks just like the one there in the pic. I think he spilled them out and spent like 5 hours putting them all back in.

So when you dull a bit, just snap it in twain. Yah!

The Drill Doctor is nice, but when used on coated bits, the bit turns into its base metal - in this case, HSS. So, a lifetime warranty is nice!

These are Canadian Tire's Mastercraft brand. There are no Harbour Freights in Canada - at least not in Atlantic Canada...

That's the best thing about buying tools from Canadian Tire - when they say "Lifetime warranty" they mean it. You can beat the snot out of their tools, and if they break it's no problem. They'd never say "Looks like you tried to use this screwdriver for a chisel" or "You put a six foot pipe on that breaker bar" - if it breaks, and it says "Mastercraft" on it, they replace it, simple as that and no questions asked.

They must get them from the same manufacturer then. Cause they look identical.
