In the middle of a 3g Swap so my new 150 watt amp is not hooked up or my 1 farad boss audio cap just a pic or 2 of it before i get a AMP rack bulit for it and while i was at the car audio shop i put in the gauge bezel just while most of my dash was apart.

So i should have all this  hooked up next week and my new alternator installed and then next week i am getting 2 sets of PR componet speakers.

Have to look at the box again but it might be big enough for a 3rd Swiss audio 8 which i have one new in the box i got for $30.

So when its done i will have a new deck 3g swap 4 amps 3 subs 2 caps 2 sets of compnet speakers dash speakers and after market EQ and a lot of extra wires everywhere plus the 2 ports and acspoogeat + might dnyo matt the doors. Even with not paying full price its still not cheap at all.

Say something good or bad i want input either way.

Tell me something and if you got any crazy ideas post them up.

So what exactly happened to the $9,000 you had for this car? If you really have that, build an engine and for godsake paint your car right. If you have a 3g you should buy one capacitor, and buy some decent subs. You dont need 3 amps to push all of that, and it shouldnt drain power like that especially with a decent capacitor.

Hes right. I push 2 850W 10" subs with a single 2channel 1200watt amp and a 1.5 farad cap.

3 amps is way too many

i allready spent a lot of money that $8,000-9,000 or so is about what i need 2 finish the rest of the car.

The caps i got both for $33 after selling the amp i got with one of them. Also the new EQ is in the bottom of that 2nd picture.

Really if i wanted 2 get more stuff done quick i could sell of my 77 XBOX 360 games but i think i will keep them.

Should get a new CD player next month that one is allready sold as soon as its out of my car and i am just gonna get the rest of the gauges i need mounted and then go form there. Most of the audio stuff i get some kind of discount on so its not costing a whole lot of money.

It's starting to look "random".Like you're just throwing anything you can find on your car.If you really think you need all that stuff in the trunk, cover it up at least with a panel or something.Your car is getting very hard to look at.It's good for a person's car to stand out,but in a good way.Yours is standing out in a bad way right now. Please tell us you've got plans to add some taste to this Thunderbird. Are you planning things out,or just tossing on whatever you can find? How old are you?I'd guess really, really young by the looks of the projects going on.

19 years old but this is my 1st car and if it stands out its ok because i will soon have a set of AFR heads and a Supercharger so as long as its the 1st thing off the light and its not going slow i would be happy.

Don't worry theres a plan for it and its not done yet but its getting their.

Im 19 also, and I have learned through several sound systems, that you dont piece it together because you can afford it at the time. You save and put the right stuff in all at once. Right now my system is still in my old DD that I sold to my brother, and he just bought all new Rockford Fosgate stuff after working all summer, and he's only 16. Im at the point where I cant afford a system in my truck because I cant get what I want, not what I can use. I know you're young, and Im the same age. Its just a matter of patience, and yes its hard. My Cougar sits in the garage with so many parts to go on it, but none would complete one single project. I save every penny to go to that car. Patience is a virtue.

Well i have let about 70-80 people listen to my sound system and i promise you no one had said anything bad about it it may not have a lot of bass but they don't sound like 8s they sound like 10s or 12s.

Where you car sounds inside and out like sitting in front of a IMAX movie where every sound is heard thats what i like and so thats what i got. if i wanted more bass i would of kept my 1500 watt 2 channel and got me 2 MA audio 400rms/800max watt subs then i would have done that.

Im just saying. Figure out what you want and save up. You get no where putting random stuff in for the "time-being". I wanted a crisp sounding system with alot of bass if I wanted. So when I feel like it I crank up the bass remote. Im just running two 10"s on a 300.1 amp. It pushes more than 137 dbs, and is louder than I actually need. I have everything turned down, and the rest of the car is factory, headunit and speakers. If you have what you want then keep it. But you say you want a Sound System but you for some reason bought another Capacitor, and that is how you dont have your $8-9K to finish it. Im just trying to be helpful. I learned the hard way how to prioritize.
