Help ,,power loss sluggish acelleration May 17, 2007, 06:03:50 PM My 87 20th cougar 5.0 seems like it has the power of a 4 cyl... I have checked the air intake I changed the cats. The car was surging up and down and then just died.. I change the ditrubuter moduel and it started up but still surged... I then seen that the map sensor vaspoogee line was unplugged so I connected it.. The car ran smooth but no power so I got a new y pipe and a single cat instaled.. still lag of power... the car ran fine a week ago so I don't know...Timing? how can I tell whats up.. anyone with this experiance.thanks Quote Selected
