Bill Elliott is coming to town

I can't believe it. Old John Nova must really be dumping some cash into the place. Elliott will be racing in the next Riverside 250 on July 21'st. Riverside Speedway is a 14* banked 1/3 of a mile, modeled after Bristol. No marvel, but it's always a good time. I was at the opening of the new Riverside last year when the first 250 was held.

Anyway, I really need to get the ol' girl out of storage before then. :birdsmily:

Hmmm... Maybe the 'bird will be ready by July 21st to make the trip. Would be nice to get an autograph on the dash or something...

Bill's a good guy, but really shy around people he doesn't know. Although he can get wound up telling stories....
He told me once the 87-88 Tbird was his favorite racecar. He blamed restrictor plates on that car.
