idle problem

mornin guys, did a search and read every thread but couldn't come up with anything, problem is , I have a high idle sometimes and some times it's fine.
i have adjusted it a few times, checked tps, iac is clean, reset puter, but it still gives me a head ache. after it's warm and then restarted the idle will be fine for a while then sometimes it goes back up to 11-1200.
If I unhook my iac the idle drops down to 700 and idles perfect,( actually ran it that way for a day and everything was good ) but i hook it back up and the idle goes back up. It didn't do any of this before I put my cobra intake on.
 any suggestions?
  Thanks, Joe

Did you check all of the vacuum connections, hoses, etc?Mine did that, and I had a vacuum leak.Check the upper to lower and make sure it's not sucking air as well.Keep us posted on the turn out.
