introduction

Hey y'all.Just figured I'd introduce myself. My name is Louie and I live in Apopka Fl. I'm an ASE certified auto tech and a 3rd generation ford man(my grand pa worked on ModelA's when they were new).
I have a 3 yr old son who is turning ino a major gearhead.:D I have 2 1988 t-birds a 5sp turbo that is stock but tuned pushing about 220 hp to the wheels. I also have an 88 sport 5.0 which is the car i wanted in H.S. C/O 88. I't mostly stock but as it needs work i upgrade it. I live in central Fl(about 20 miles from NW of orlando).
Also would enjoy meeting local T-bird owners to hang out anc compare cars and tweeks.

Jim from Washington State here I also have an 88 Bird that I'm just getting started with. Been my driver for about 4 years and getting a bit run down so time to upgrade it.

Thanx for the welcome. I've had my 5.0 since 02. It had 83k. Wife needed a car and she's been running it since 03 now has 150k.paid $1500 came with extra 5.0 and AOD dude said it had a motor knock that turned out to be the cat. Adj. t/v cable fixed tranny Sold them both for $500. Ice cold A/C. Needs about $5-600 worth of work.Doing it slowly as funds allow. But still by far the best  used car I ever had.
