Lowering my car January 19, 2005, 11:40:15 AM I am going to lower my 87 tbird with a 5.0. I am going to lower it 1 1/2, i also want to get some off set steering rack bushings. Can i order some off set steering rack bushings for a 5.0 mustang?? Or do i have to get them for a Tbird?? Thanks Quote Selected
Re: Lowering my car Reply #1 – January 19, 2005, 11:54:31 AM Don't bother with offset rack bushings, you don't need them.....plus they won't fit on a Thunderbird as the fluid lines interfere with the motor mount bracket on the driver side....at least they do on a TC so I'll assume the same will apply on a regular Thunderbird. Re: Lowering my car Reply #6 – January 19, 2005, 05:08:45 PM I lowered my 88 coougar 1.5 in and went to a 235/60/R15. That is about as big as I can go on the back because of the fender lip. Quote Selected
