We use to paint the white walls on the costomers cars when they got them new and wanted the white walls in.

It lasts for a long time.

My cousin saw em last year and said they looked cupped and I should flip em around....so I did. Went to pick em up at the shop......surprise!!!!!

Ok, if they were cupped or not what did flipping them around do?  It is still the same tires, they will still be cupped.  and IF they were, you have serious suspension problems to address, not turning your tires.  You want to remove the cups?  Do a burnout til they are smoothed out.;)

You can reverse the direction of the tire and it will flatten out the cupping on the tire. We did that alot when I was working at the tire shops.

Hmm. Well I don't think it was *that* bad, it was around the time I was aggravated by this clunk noise when I'd hit the brakes. Ended up my cousin and his friend with a ball joint kit put in some new TRW units I bought. Did nothing. I even had a shop check out the suspension, he said he put a massive pry bar everywhere he could....couldn't find anything wrong. My cousin thought something was wrong in the suspension at the time and figured that might have caused the cupping, as you said RJ, and he said you might as well once this is over, flip the tires.

Turns out.......my friggin dual exhaust I put on with the H.O. conversion was banging the rear control arms!!!!!!! So I played with it a little.....problem solved. The ball joints werent a lot of $$$ either, and they have grease fittings which I put new grease in relentlessly too often, so I think theyll be good for a little while :D.

Man never thought painting my tires would lead to that!!! Whew!!! Oh well gotta set everyone straight. LOL

Thank god for bumper trim paint:hick: . I don't know why Ford just didn't mold the bumpers in black instead of yellow. It would have saved them the cost of painting the rub strips. Plus you wouldn't see ses or nicks so easily.

I was thinking you would of spray the whole sides of the tires white and tapped of the rest of it.

Clean the wheel wells and spray paint those as well i have never thought of doing that so i don't know what to say because sometimes i do off the wall stuff. Looks good now buy a little more paint and finish the job with those wheel wells.

Which is worse Zonda ? putting Y piped duals on a 99 or painting your tires on the 87 you decide.
