Need a leather rear seat... January 27, 2007, 08:07:38 AM I'm still debating removing the rear seat altogether but I may go with a leather seat to match the new fronts. Anyone got a leather rear seat to fit an 88 cat? Black would be preferred but I can dye one if needed. Quote Selected

Need a leather rear seat... Reply #3 – February 05, 2007, 08:35:13 PM This is a long shot, but I thought I would add it in.There's an '86 Turbo Coupe in my local yard with the two-tone black/smoke leather interior. The rear seat is all there, but there may be some cracking in the leather. I guess I'm 2.5-3 hours from Columbus, OH. Quote Selected

Can you find out for me what they want for the back seat and all the interior panels? Will the door panells fit an '88? Quote Selected

Will the door panells fit an '88?Hmm... That's a good question. They are the "high rise" panels with leather inserts. They are also of the black (raven?) and smoke two-tone pattern. However, somebody decided to take black spray paint and repaint the door lock bezels... while they were still on the door panels. Therefore, there is black overspray all over the smoke inserts on the panels. Otherwise I would have taken them for the '86 and it would have been a perfect match. Idiots...You will have trouble with the interior sail panels for sure. Nothing will match up with those pieces. I think almost all of the interior plastic is totally black. Even the dash is all black and not two-tone. The dash is also in mint condition - I couldn't find more than one or two small cracks in it. They would want $100 or so for the dash. I remember because I asked them.I'll remember to call them this week and see what they want for the back seat. I think it may have wide-spread cracking and dry leather from what I remember. If you want any of these parts, you will have to drive down and get 'em. I would normally pick them up for a forum member, but I'm going through some heavy stuff with my career/location and I just don't have the free weekend time to hit the yards. Quote Selected
Need a leather rear seat... Reply #7 – February 06, 2007, 07:03:57 AM Thanks, man. I'd appreciate it. The grey may actually work as it is, White on black and grey wouldn't be too bad. Hmmm... Might even consider dying the front seats to match. Quote Selected
Need a leather rear seat... Reply #8 – February 06, 2007, 11:37:22 AM $35 for the complete rear seat. $20 each for the door panels. The interior trim pieces you could get for cheap - they have no set price.Again, I can't promise the condition of the rear seat. It may have considerable cracking and dry leather. I can't remember. Well, I guess I'll just have to drive out there and see. PM me a location and I'll see if I can make it some Sunday when the weather clears. Quote Selected
