Back from the dead

Hey everyone,

I posted up a question and figured it'd be kinda rude to ask for help and not check in seeing as I've been MIA for like 6 months or something...

Anyway, still in school, never gonna get out it seems. I finished my auto body repair certificate this past fall semester, so I have a piece of paper that says I can make cars look like cars again. I'm I-Car welding certified for steel and I won a $5000 national scholarship through I-Car and Akzo Nobel for "The most influential women in collision repair"

While working on my auto body cert I decided to take up the welding major. After winning the scholarship above, my TIG teacher got me in to the Lincoln Electric Motorsports Welding School and they're footing the bill, so that'll be fun, but a hard 2 weeks of classes. I can't say that I won't mind hanging out with all the welders for all the motorsports teams though...

Uh... the apt. Nick and I were working on is done and we're moved in finally. Due to my dog being miserable all day with nobody home I also have another puppy... a 9 wk old boston terrier named Isis.

Other than that... same old same old. Current car count:
87 T-Bird Sport 5.0 5 Speed
88 T-Bird TC 5 speed
84 Mustang SVO 5 speed (half painted and in about 50 pieces min)
79 Ranchero 302
05 Ninja 500 (sitting since my crash last Jan with a whole 34 mi on the clock)

welcome back,, make good grades!  I keep refering all those heater core question to your method by cutting the air box ,, i still gotta do mine one day.

It sounds like you have a lot going on and things are working out for the good.  Its good to see someone happy doing what they do.

I'm another that's been gone for several months.  Congrats on the scholarship and Nobel!  The only thing I have in the closet is about 180 Attaboy's.  It's so hard not to start over again.

Hey Crystal, did you ever get that Crystal Ford emblem?  If not, do you want one?  Maybe I can see about getting one for you.
