Explorer wheels December 07, 2006, 07:42:13 PM Hey all,I recently bought a '95 Explorer off of Ebay for parts for my slightly beat-up Explorer. Collectively, I would have paid considerably more for each part individually from a salvage yard than I paid for the whole truck. I plan on taking what I need and trying to sell the rest on Ebay. For a few details, it is a 2WD 4.0 V6 4-dr XLT that is missing a radiator and tranny, but otherwise is basically a straight and rust-free truck. I only paid $432 for it, and it has a salvage title and runs. I need to take a driver's front fender, the driver's headlight/turnlight assembly, the front and rear bumpers, and the windshield. Here's my question: would you try to sell it as a whole vehicle when you're done with it, or part it out? My gut tells me that I could make more on it if I parted it, but that could also take a good while. Selling it in one piece gets it gone at one time. I really need to turn my money around quick (I really didn't have $432 at Christmas time to spend on the truck, but I might not find another one as nice or as close-by for a long time if ever). What are everybody's opinions?I'm attaching a pic of the parts Explorer, and it has aftermarket wheels of some kind on it. Does anybody recognize them, and if so, what are they and are they worth anything? They will probably be the first things I sell if I part it, or even if I don't part it (it comes with 2 original wheels, plus a spare, so I could yank the mags and not really miss them and not hurt the value of the truck). I appreciate any info. Thanks.Fordman3 Quote Selected

Explorer wheels Reply #2 – December 07, 2006, 09:20:08 PM They look like Eagle Alloys? They have them in Summit Racing. They are $110 each new. Quote Selected
